Gaming Laptop under 1.5k

Helping a friend looking for a gaming laptop for under 1.5k sgd. Definitely want local warranty so amazon or other importing is out of the picture. Hopefully can last at least 4ish years. Using to do school work and play mostly overwatch. Currently looking at Acer Nitro 5 at 1.3k with Ryzen 5 3550h, 8gb RAM, gtx 1650, 512gb ssd. Want to know if theres any better recommendations or problems with the nitro 5
