Gaming Laptop

Hi guys,
I’m thinking of buying a 16” laptop but I’m not sure which GPU should I choose. I’m thinking between 4070 and 4080.
For 4070, I’m looking at the laptop with 3.2K Resolution. Not sure if 4070 can maximise the screen. Will 4080 be overkill for that display.

I’m open to other options.

What’s your budget? Get the highest spec your budget allow. Nothing is overkill if your budget have no limit.

Hi, u bought the laptop in the end? I am looking for one atm. Having a lot of sales across different brands. Not sure is it because next gen r coming up. Anw, i read online some users are experiencing crashes from doing light work. Temp workard was to set graphic card to perfomance mode. May i know if u guys face such issues? Has the issue been resolved by updates？

I paid $2079 in the end. Signed up as a Lenovo member and got an additional $30 voucher. Figured I can offset the costs a bit more by selling off the headset and 23.8" monitor that will come with it cos I have no use for them.

So far so good.... No problems playing any games. Not planning to do any work, so not too sure if I will face issues if I try later.
