Hi guys,

Wondering what gaming laptops can i get with this budget.
Any reccommendations?

Asus FX503 (i7-7700), FX504 (i7-8750)
Levono Legion Y520 (i7-7700)
Dell G3 or G5 (i5-8250 or i7-8750)
Acer Nitro 5 (i7-8750)

And some MSI laptops pretty ok with i7-7700 @less than $2k.

I second the y520 but if I had a chance to do it again, I would buy a y720 because of better graphics and durability.

You would need a quad core chip like a HQ (i7-6700hq or i7-7700hq) and gtx 1050 or higher to run game at high graphics like assassin Creed, call of duty and battlefield.

Try avoid u machines like i7-8550u or i7-7600u.

I do some random carouhelling at times and came across this two posts. Looks well-priced.

Aftershock or Dell G series. Avoid any laptop that doesn't have VA/IPS screen. Aftershock MX-15 Pro with 8th Gen i7 and 1060. Then upgrade the RAM and display to 144hz AHVA/IPS.

Thx guys for the replies.
For a not so enthusiastic gamer, would an aftershock MX15 be sufficient? Mainly playing games like BF and DOTA

Probably 2k should be able to get you at least i7-7700HQ with GTX1060 and 16GB RAM and 128GB SSD.
