I'm using rat7, already replaced the left, right and middle mouse buttons once from ebay. This mouse gave me so many problems in less than 2years, I usually use the middle click to open new tabs, sometimes can quadruple click for me :vijayadmin:. Also, left right clicks keep double/triple clicking, insanely annoying.

Upon opening the mouse, I found out it was using the same standard omron microswitches seen in almost every other mice :s22:

Actually coming from using various mouse Iwill give my vote to 2 mouse.

1. R.A.T 7
2. Razer Naga red

This 2 are different mouse. Although both have their QC issues especially naga. I would say there is no perfect mouse.

I love Rat7 is because of the fully adjustable mouse. It is very nice and comfort to use especially with pinky guard. It is one of the best FPS mouse to use.

Razer naga red despite going into service center twice for RMA. First was insensitive right click, B.L almost rejected my complain as they found no issues on it. But nevertheless replace another one for me. 2nd time was the unable to move.

Warranty aside . This mouse always impress me when im playing mmo. Due to the fact that the buttons are well placed around the side of the mouse. Sure thing Logitechhas one that completely looks like it . But the problem is their buttons are nearly packed.

Playing d3 with 1 hand seems easy to control and faster.

Apart from this 2 mouse I have a StarCraft ii mouse that also went in service center once. And was rejected warranty claim as it is a week pass the warranty period. This mouse withstand most of my mass clicking when im playing strategy games. If you were to ask me this mouse is tough.

I also have the armegeddon g7. This one died on me within. 3 months of usage. Unable to detect and unable to power up. Send in at kallang. Replacement took a few days close to a week. Got back and spoil again within 3months. Gave up on it.

I mean if you are a true gamer you won't keep just 1 mouse. You will have a few.

Oh, that was unfortunate that you have a bad experience with Armaggeddon mice. Though, other than some really bad drivers during installation, my mice was working quite well. Perhaps you have been gaming very intensively? I also wondered if those Powerlogic mice are good for use? They only cost like $16.90, which is crazy cheap for gaming mice.( Maximum 3200 DPI, though.)

Yeah unfortunate.

What really draws me is the glowing led in it and the cheap affordable pricing. Can't remember how much I bought. I bought it due to very limited allowance as I was in NS.

Yes I admit I was a game addict before. So may be the mouse just went through a torture test by me.

Powerlogic was my laptop mice lol. But somehow I have no idea where it had went to after we shifted house.. Haha

Actually, the LED can be switched off using the macro setting software that came with the drivers. I switched mine off because I do not like glowy flashy things. The mice is currently selling for $49.

G700 battery life is pretty rubbish leh. Cannot use it for more than a day without plugging in the charging cable.

Yes, the G700 battery life s horrible, the need to charge it every 1 day.

Switched to G602 and been using for months and the battery is still strong.

Someone was asking about the powerlogic mouse? I'm currently using the cheap one for under $20 (GMX-3 or something like that). Was very surprised by what I got for that price: 3 stages of Dpi adjustment, 2 side buttons and no noticeable lags or performance issue while gaming. Comfortable grip too. However, note that I'm a casual gamer so YMMV.

Only issue is that the build quality is not too good. The paint has already wore off in places where you will normally place your thumb and last 2 fingers.

Now looking at the logitech G602. Cheap for a wireless gaming mouse, long battery life and I've heard good performance and no lag while gaming.

I mean if you are a true gamer you won't keep just 1 mouse. You will have a few.

Heh. I don't play that many games, but I have a mice problem.

Logitech G5 (my old faithful, retired after over 5 years of sterling service)
Logitech G400
Logitech G500s
Logitech G502
Coolermaster Sentinel Advance II
Coolermaster Spawn
Mionix Naos 7000
Armageddon G17
Roccat Kone[+]
Roccat KoneXTD
Roccat Kone Pure
Razer Imperator 2012 edition

Wireless mice for my laptop:
Logitech m705
Logitech m325
Logitech t400
Microsoft sculpt comfort

Regarding the "melting/sticky rubber", it's common on the soft rubber coated mice if you leave it exposed to sunlight. The CM Spawn left/right buttons had this type of coating, and I left it on the shelf and forgot about it for a while; now the buttons are "sticky". From what I can see, I expect Roccat mice to have this same problem because they use a similar/same type of coating for the entire mouse. Harder, plasticky feel plastic/rubber(?) like the sides of the G500s seems to hold up better.

Coolermaster mouse are decent, but they usually have some small problems with them. My Sentinel Advance II left/right button are slightly loose, there's a tiny bit of give before clicking.

Regarding the Logitech G502, overall a nice mouse but I hated the metal scroll wheel.

So which mouse is my everyday mouse? G500s. I've used that shape since the Logitech MX500 nearly 12 years ago, so I've gotten used to it... :s22:

read up reliable sites reviews. there are various mouse with high dpi, which is useless for the majority of users, unless you only want to move a few mm on a 10,000dpi to copy paste an entire document on a 20+ inch monitor, just saying ah, dk its possible anot.
however, take note of the sensor hardware that is utilized, its plays the most important part in your mouse, besides favoured grip and required click force of course.

for me, i use g502, L/R buttons click require a little more force than a sensei or deathadder, used for about a month+, shouldn't be breaking in issues. but the various buttons allow me to have 2 profiles. 1 gaming and 1 casual. for casual, i bind the buttons to next/previous/new/close tab/copy/paste.
you can get mmo mouse if you require more for casual or gaming.
