Gaming notebook chassis

Just curious, did anyone think of the chassis before you purchased a notebook? Especially gaming notebook, as we know that our gaming rig usually emit a lot of dust and sometime the dust just pile up and hard to clean, usually rubber finishing (not plastic) will always suck up those dust and stick on the surface which uncomfortable. I believe those who bought razer orb weaver will understand that. Hope anyone can share their method of prevent those dust stick to their gaming rig

I thought gaming notebooks are supposed to emit heat, not dust haha. Dust gets on everything, can't really be helped. Just have to clean regularly.

The rubber issue of trapping dust is a bit hard to determine unless you own the product for a long time... my old Asus G73 had pretty bad case of the rubber material deteriorating and becoming extremely sticky on the hinge cover. For my aftershock X15 i've used talcum powder on the rubber touchpad before, but so far the rubber's holding up pretty fine (at least way better than how the G73 was)

Usually, I will consider the chassis and the cooling as priority. Agree that there is no way you can prevent dust from entering the chassis. For gaming laptop, the situation is worst since usually they require more powerful cooling/ fan, thus, further introducing more dust in there.

I guess there is no fix at the moment without seriously impeding on cooling performance of the laptop. Best we can do is to maintain it as often as we can.
