I want to get a gaming rig that can play 1080p on my tv, using a wireless ps4 controller, in a horizontal case (I dont care of the look just a good quality case and black in colour). Budget to be less than SGD 2000 (the cheaper the better ). This rig is to be used solely for gaming. The budget is only for the rig and not for the peripherals.

Also am thinking of getting the gpu and ssd on amazon black friday. Is it a good idea?

SSD if it is 480gb/512gb range yes it is worth it to get from Amazon.

As for GPU, as of now nothing interesting, and you could get it from lazada.sg.

What kind of games do you intend to play on this rig.

I intend to play games with controller support, ie, ***, Action games, fighting games, etc. Basically, games that are also available on consoles as I'll be sitting on the couch.

I'll be playing strategy games, rpgs on my other pc with a keyboard and mouse.

Forgot to ask, if most of the games I'll be getting or have, are on steam, what is the appropriate size for the ssd?

Is there a wireless option? I see from amazon that I'll need a wireless gaming receiver if I were to use a wireless xbox360 controller, based on reviews of others. Xbox360 wireless or ds4 wireless?

For ssd, min at least 240-256gb if ur budget allows. if u can afford bigger, den go for 480-512gb, depending on brand.

PS4 u mean? PS4 or PS3 controller, iirc, need 3rd party software to control and map out the controls layout. Xbox 360 is more straightforward.

Also, if u get the wireless xbox 360 controller, u wun get the receiver. need to pruchase separately. Stupid strategy from microsoft to milk from u. I gt the wired and it works fine.

Thanks. I'll go with the wireless xbox360 wireless controller and that wireless receiver. I dont like wires.

And I'll go with Jian19's build unless someone has better. Thanks.
