Hi guys,
I would like to seek some advice on building my own pc.
Main uses are just general gaming like Dota2/CSGO/FarCry 4 or watching shows.
No need for other peripherals, my monitor is Samsung SyncMaster 2243WM (reusing)

Think I5 would be best for me but havent decided between Haswell and Skylake.
Case prefably mitx or mATX
GFX: thinking gtx 970
Budget would be under 1.5k

If possible, would not really like to purchase much from lazada (other than the SSD which everyone seems to recommend). The whole chargeback thing/%discounts for up to $xx can be quite confusing.

Everything else if available from PC Themes will get it there. Windows key will get from reddit

Buying most from Lazada can help lighten your delivery from SLS to home and also save you heaps of cash....

Any preference for colour theme? Black with White/Blue/Red/Green?
Need WiFi adapter?

PC to be placed on table or floor?
Which internet provider plan and router are you using now?
Is your home in a relatively new apartment built in the past 8 years?
How far is your upcoming PC located from the router?
Any obstruction between path?

delivery wise its ok cos i have private transport.
im ok with purchasing with lazada and all but for convenience i'd like to purchase it all at the same store, but im up for any recommendations from lazada too.

Colourwise not too picky, red prefably but it'll be on the floor under my table so not really visible.
Decent Starhub connection but im using wifi connection. the modem is 1 toilet room away. So far my current laptop wifi chip is able to hold a strong connection. Would this matter in building the pc? cos I quite ok with my current speed and connection

also i have no intentions of overclocking or any of that sort.

do you guys think gtx970 would be too much? since i just need a playable fps for the usual games like far cry 4 and max setting for dota2/csgo. would it be better if i get a cheaper card now and then upgrade to a better card in 1-2 years?
