Gaming PC recommendations $1.5-$1.8k

Hi all,
Been out of touch with the market for a while, looking for a gaming rig $1.5 - $1.8k.

Really don't need upgradability and the usual concerns, it's for someone else, just need max FPS for the dollar.

Seems like a 9060 is the best value for money at this point, the next best card 9070/5070 series is $1k and up.

So far what I've found is:
5700X + B550M Pro VDH ~ $400
16GB DDR4 ~ $100
9060XT ~ $400
1TB SSD ~ $200
PSU ~ $100
Case ~ $100

Is this a reasonable rig or are there parts you would swap out?
Would appreciate any input!

Not sure where did you find your prices especially for RAM and SSD.
RAM 16GB nowadays is around $200 - $300 no more $100.
Same with SSD now is close to $300.
Unless you are looking at second hand than possible.

DDR4 prices are still okay, no? I'm seeing quite a few listings on Lazada for DDR4 sticks in that price range, so I thought it would be cheaper hence my choice of a DDR4 platform.

I notice some fake as well, when you ask no reply.
Some will refer to cheaper seller to low ball as well.
Normally, I would say to the buyer, the price is super good. if you can buy that, its an excellent buy, then no reply already

That's why need to be careful of fake seller or scammers on Lazada and Shopee.
Carousell no need to say.

if building not a must and ok with zen3, just get an invaderpc 5600 + 9060xt build for 1.2k, which is cheaper than ur projected build and u get the 16gb 9060xt too.

depends on what kind of PC games u r playing. So far I see this is a mid tier build. Of coz RAM & Nvme are both killers now. If suit ur budget then go for it.
