Need help with a gaming PC

Possible adding in SSD with about 120GB for the OS.

Also looking at:

MSI A88X G45 Gaming + AMD A10 7850K - $458

Asrock Z87 Killer + i7 4770 (@3.4GHz) - $604

OR

MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming + i7 4770 (@3.4GHz) - $707

If it helps, I can reuse those items in the my current rig ----->

bro no point using a i7 if you are only gaming. and z87 boards are for overclocking and need to pair with a k processor, in which this case you din't pick a k one, so i assuming you are not overclocking. if that is the case pick the msi b85-g43 gaming + i5 4670 or the MSI A88X G45 Gaming + AMD A10 7850K if you want to try the amd one

My thought too, but i have no research or clue since it is like SO new. However, PC Themes says no stock or that motherboard wor

I just got that graphics card. My previous one burnt out. Looks like i have more budget for SSD.

The SSD strictly for OS leh. Gaming, I already WD Black. Ha ha. This kind o setup should work?

You have 6x2gb rams, are they triple channel rams? if so, it may not work as you need dual channel rams...

Bigger SSD pls. Regret with 120g
Cos after OS and some essential programs u left with 40gb>
Setting away some recycling bin, and a decent amount for Virtual Mem....
Left with peanuts.

Serious? Why don't u just put the bigger programs in the HDD? Even then you got 40GB left so maybe 8GB pagefile and 25gb for recycling bin?

You can also install your games on the SSD for faster loading.
