Gaming rig advice needed. Budget $1.5k

Looking to build a gaming rig with a budget of $1.5k (excluding monitor/kb/mouse), but will be good if can include OS.

I was quoted the following build for about $999

CPU:Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo: B550M
Ram: 16gb DDR4 3200 Vulcan Z
SSD: 500gb NVME M.2
GPU: GTX 1650 Super
PSU: 650W 80+ Bronze Aigo
Case: Techware Forge M RGB

Wonder if there's any better build that's around the same budget?

If eSports titles should be alright..

AAA games or want high graphics settings with better frame rates, you may want to consider investing in better GPU

Think will cause quite a bottleneck with this CPU/GPU pairing.

500 - rtx 2060 super (find in carousell, maybe cheaper)
93- wd blue sn550 500gb
125 - superflower 650w gold (cheaper if buy those inwin brand or smthing but not recommended)
118 - 16gb RAM corsair vengeance lpx 3200mhz CL 16

1.22k total (excluding case)
Price taken from dynacore. Other than gpu (carousell).


Win10 etc go online buy, 5bucks or so only.

You should state your entire rig parts, including purpose... Especially monitor.
Don't slap a 4K monitor yet want a "Budget" but "Gaming" Rig.
Or you just aiming to play Nintendo / Playstation emulators on PC? Can that be considered as a "Gaming" Rig lol.

I wouldn;t place any bets on the prices going down. Since the new 5000s are at a different price segment.

I would hold off any PC builds till mid of Nov. Lots of new releases from AMD and Nvidia. Prices will go down a bit especially for GPU after new releases from AMD (Big Navi) and Nvidia (RTX 3060). Word of advice: If your on a budget, dont get the latest gen. Go for the previous gen as it will give you more bang for your buck. Also, never scrimp on Power Supply, your whole system is plugged to your PSU. If the PSU goes it may take the whole system with it. Go for known PSU brands.

Budget 1.5k can get this rig. Got 2070 super. It will be hard to find any build that's 1.4k and can get higher fps than this.
