I've read abit of the articles in the buyer's guide, and I picked out some components from the tradepac price list.

i5 4670 + ASROCK B85M PRO4 ~ $364 *
G.Skill DDR3-1333MHz 8GB (2X4GB) ~ $90 **
Crucial M500 240GB ~ $150 (Amazon price)

* What difference are there if I choose a cheaper mainboard?
** I want to get a DDR3-1600MHz as mentioned in the buyers guide, but it's not in the tradepac pricelist. Is there any difference?

I'm trying to build the rig with a budget of ~$1000. Can you recommend a suitable PSU, GPU and casing for me? And perhaps a wireless card but it doesn't have to be included in the budget.

Edit: the components I picked out can be changed as well if you have a better recommendation. I did not do much research as I've only read a few articles

Its i5-4670, not i7-4670. Which HWZ article you read sia? Need some serious editting.

And get i5-4570 will do. 100mhz diff wun hurt you. Price diff can be channeled to somewhr else.

What games you play?
Need monitor?
Need OS?

Please continue to read more. Dun read HWZ de. Try from other websites, like linustechtip. He have some sub $1500 (USA) guides. Not really must follow the part lists, but take note of why and how he choose the parts according to his needs.

Oh ok thanks. I'm play League of Legends, DOTA 2 and Diablo 3. Planning to get Titanfall. I don't need monitor nor OS as I plan to reuse my old one.

Is CM 311 a casing? I googled and it showed me some earphones

Just go with Jian19 build. That 750ti is good enough to power your monitor. Not unless you wanna go 1080p and wanna game slightly better graphics.

Alright, thanks for all your advices! So I take it that the 750ti is the best value for money as any better GPU won't have significant improvement without costing a lot more?

With respect to your current resolution of coz... But if you intend to upgrade to 1080p, den your gpu needs to change as well.

crucial 8gb ram is 2x4gb kit right?

Yes... when they say 8gb pr 16gb kit, it deal dual channel rams, meanig 2x4gb or 2x 8gb respectively
If its triple channel, it will b stated differently, most of us here dun really use that.

Note that the value rams is sold by 1 stick. Those above $100 are the kits.
