After some research came up with the following:

i7 6770
Asus Maximus VIII Hero / Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
Gtx 1080 (Aib)
Samsung 250GB SSD
Samsung 1TB HDD
Seasonic X650 / Corsair Hx650 / Coolermaster V700
Corasir Vengenance IPX DDR4 2400MHZ 8GB
Corasir Obsidian 750D Airflow Ed / Cooler Master HAF X / CM Storm Trooper

Need assistance to refine the list for compatibility etc.

Doable under 4k budget?

Thank you.

For gaming only, don't intend to oc and using cpu casing built in cooler. (Is it suffice?) If not what is good?

My last post I asked for recommendation for GTX 1080 rig with 3k budget ppl laugh lol. Increase budget lor. haha

Thanks!

3k can do .... select mid range power supply and casing to save cost

since the card is 1.2k range .... 1.8k is plenty for the other parts

4K w/o peripherals and OS? That's a huge budget which can get X99, Good PSU etc... but since you don't OC...

ASUS H110M-PLUS D3 + i7 6700 - $560
CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 2400MHZ CL14 ( 4GBx2pcs ) - $95 (Can find cheaper alternatives)
GTX 1080 - $1188* (Founders design) (AIB pricing may differ)
CRYORIG H7 HEATSINK COOLER - $65 (Not really needed if not OC'ing)
FRACTAL DESIGN DEFINE S WINDOW - $149
SAMSUNG EVO 850 500GB SSD - $259
WESTERN.D 2TB BLUE ( 5400RPM ) - $110
CORSAIR RMi 650W 80+ GOLD - $195

$2621 Total (PCThemes pricelist)
