Gaming rig advice

I'm intending to buy this from Aftershock for $2,690.
Purpose is playing Triple A games like Destiny 2, PUBG, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
I am using a Dell U2414H.
Please give your comments on whether any parts need to be swapped.

All of this can be bought for about 300-500 cheaper in SLS.

I am worried that the 1080 is a stock cooler type.

The RAM is a bit slow at 2400

Not sure if you will believe it, Aftershock gtx 1080 is a zotac gtx 1080 Mini, which ain't really much better than a reference card.

Yes I confirmed with them that it is indeed Zotac Mini which is basically same performance as a reference card.
Only thing is that it will look funny in a mid tower.
I am able to top up 80-120 for AMP version but not sure whether it is worth it.

My subtotal = $22xx, I dont need add more parts I also can see that aftershock deal is damn cui liao

I am always supporting getting a better cpu and weaker going to start. If I were you, I would get an i7 and a 1070ti instead.

1.you can easily change a gpu but cpu may be more of a commitment to change. Of course the coffee lake is already a 6 core but now ht is able to give a small boost even in many games.

2. You are on a 1080p 60hz monitor. A 1070ti will max out everything for a good while.

A i7 will future proof you for much longer especially if you are ever intending on upgrading the gpu in the future.

I know non aftershock is cheaper. But if you are not planning to learn how to fix, maintain and build cpu by yourself I would support going for them. They have good service and can help you maintain, upgrade, fix etc. It's worth paying the premium for a bit more peace of mind.

Aftershock loves to use this model of GPU.. costs lower with longer warranty to cover their ass.

Good point on monitor being the bottleneck for GPU.
This rig minimum is 1080 but I should be able to get them to change to 1070 Ti.
However, 8600K should be more than sufficient for my requirement.
If not for the fact that 8400 does not fully utilise Z370, I think 8400 is good enough for me.
I built my last 3 rigs but now I rather have someone troubleshoot for me when my desktop is down.

if tat is the casing, the airflow looks really strange to me
the 3 front intake fans look very close to glass (ie. very restrictive intake?)
and 3+1 exhaust fans
and then 2 dunno wat side fans blowing to where...?

btw it come with how many stock fans?

Aftershock is buying warranty. You're not getting best priceerformance ratio, rather you're buying their service to give you guarantee and peace of mind and save the trouble and time for troubleshooting where they are the one who will get their hands dirty for you.

Which you will get from other pre built brand pc maker as well. Only thing aftershock stands out is "lifetime cleaning" of your pc.

the problem is most prebuilt pc brands charge u 2k$ for a i7 + gt 730 marketed as "gaming".
