Bro, i observed that you sometime recommend the matte screen sometime glossy. Correct me if i am wrong, matte is more expensive and you are using a glossy dell screen. What game do you play and personal preference for screen? Looking to upgrade from lcd 23 inch haha

Well It boils down to personal preference.

Matte screen wont reflect much light. It is good for rooms that are having strong source of sunlight. It helps by reducing or eliminate reflections of the user. But the down side is that it reduces color vibrancy and words arent really pint sharp. Brightness also reduced. But a matte screen is definitely recommended for people whom have strong sunlight area.

On the other hand I won this gloss screen monitor by lucky draw.

Back then I have this old lg flatron that I bought from distro. It is matte screen.

When I first turn the dell on, I straightaway fell in love with gloss screen. Do take note my room does not have direct sunlight.

Gloss screen gives very good color vibrancy, very bright and words are pint sharp. Playing bf4 is not fuzzy.

Yes I have tested puting the monitor with direct sunlight behind me and play. It gets irritaing as I can see an image of myself on screen.

So decided to locate the monitor somewhere with no sunlight coming in.
