Gaming Rig, upgrade & advise needed

Hi Jian19,

I saw a similar thread started by johnny chai, but don't think it's good for me to hijack his thread. Hence, I shall start a new one on my own.

My current rig is ~ 6-7 years old already.

Last week, my com suddenly refuses to boot. Fans connecting to the mobo is not working, mobo no lights. I suspect it's a symptoms telling me it's nearing end of lifespan.

My criteria are as follows:

Able to play modern games, BF 4, Blade & Soul, Dota 2 Etc

Don't require the following items

Monitor
Speaker
Mouse
Keyboard
OS

To be advised:

Should I use back my harddisk, and PSU?

Kindly advise.

Get a new psu after using your psu to 6-7 years i think run out of juice also alrdy lol you can use back your harddisk and you can think of getting a ssd and are you looking to max out bf4 on ultra or ?

Please indicate your intended budget so that we can assist you further.

And I would not advise to use the old psu if it has reached 6-7years of usage.

I believe u can reuse ur hdd but ur gfx is a tough call, u can reuse it or get a better gfx if u intend to game bf4 on ultra

Hmm, for the GFX it's still pretty new cause I bought it earlier this year.

Budget probably 600-700.

Am looking to retain my GFX at the moment to minimize my budget limit.

Do consider to get Sharkoon t28 + Superflower hx 600 instead since only $1 diff..

U can bring down and ask them help u fix into it as well or fix urself ~ quite easy de ~
