Gaming rig upgrade

Currently using this rig and I’m planning to switch some of the old parts away. Can anyone recommend me what to switch out and what should I get?

MSI B85-G43 gaming + I5-4570

WD 1TB SATA 6GB, 16MB CACHE 7200RPM

Zotac GTX 1070

Avexir core MPOWER 1600mhz 2x4gb

Plextor M5S 128GB SSD SATA3

Still usable... at most just add on 2 more 4GB rams to make it a total of 16gb

Go to Carousell, look for cheap 2x4gb 1600mhz DDR3 kit.
Purchase and add so you'll have 16GB.

Buy a new SSD, larger one like 250 or 500 for installing games. SSD make games load faster than traditional hdds.

Change case/fans if you like, make it look fresh.

Just get an SSD and it should be find since it can migrate with you in the future.

Before buying memory, find out how much memory you are using.
Your current rig may be balanced already. DDR3 is dead end with your current rig. Suggest you don't buy and live with your existing RAM.

I just went from a i5-4570 to a Xeon E3 1270v3. That higher clock speed and HT made quite a difference in this year's games

Bump up to 16GB of RAM if you can find cheap on carousell, along with a 2nd hand SSD. If your games still fall behind in performance, someone just put up a post on Carousell selling a i7-4770 (3.4Ghz, 4 cores 8 threads with HT)
