I am helping my friend build my gaming rig. he wants a nvidia gtx 980 1tb plus hard drivve 16 b ram 2 cooling fans intel core i7 ssd max and a msi gaming mother board. possible under 2k? Rig is for gaming

Perhaps can upped the chassis to a Corsair Obsidian 650D?

Why not... A DIY rig doesnt mean must play BF4, crysis 3 nia, and for those playing dota2, LOl, maplestory, they are only allowed branded pc...

A good $1k rig for dota2 is still better than a $1300 branded pc for dota2.. its about the value of the rig.
