Had an idiot resident throw smouldering BBQ charcoal into the chute before. Small fire started and melted the bin container at the bottom.

Fire was in the cabin compartment , so it wasn't the rubbish on fire.

" In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the fire along BKE towards Woodlands near Bukit Panjang Road exit at about 10.15am.

The fire involved the cabin compartment of a truck and was extinguished by SCDF using a hosereel.

There were no reported injuries. "

1st thing is garbage truck dunno y caught fire.

2nd thing is got jam but not caused by d truck on fire. But by motorists slowing down to take pics n vids

With more EV cars on the roads, sooner or later will see a mass fire on the roads, with 1 vehicle on fire and spreading to the rest.

I still feel the CNG option 20 years ago is a safer bet, at least no reported car fires caused by cng cars.

Last month got one fugging idiot in front of me on PIE, after drive past the accident site at 10km/h, still continue on at 10km/h for another 10 secs when in front all no traffic.
