just bought gardinia's nutri multi grain which claims to be low GI.

2 servings = 9.4g protein/3.3g fat/22.8g carbs.

seems to be pretty damn good imo. high protein and supposedly "good carbs" considering using this and sweet potatoes and quaker pats(100%natural wholegrain oats) my main carb sources from now onwards.

anyone tried it before? have any opinions on it?

just finished off 6 slices today. :s13:

How much does it cost and you buy from where? :D

It's this bread. You can find it at any supermarket.

have to consider GI load also leh.

Eating with protein and fat will probably bring down the GI though.

All in all, dun think so much.. just saying lol

have been eating white rice + oats as carb sources. shall change it to sweet potatoes and this bread. maybe for a month or so. and see how it goes. if there's improvement, it stays. if there's signs i'm getting fatter, will probably just eat sweet potatoes and oats. sweet potatoes are fcking delicious

prefer as in you think it's a better choice as a carb source, or you think it tastes better. :s22:

The nutrition stats for P/C/F are sttated on opening comment. Someone also provided a link. Haha. For breads, I heard the best ones(as in least processed/better complex carb source) are the ones that look, feel and taste like they got woodchips mixed in with them.

What I'm most taken by is the "low gi" claim from gardenia. Makes it seem like a better(not best) choice over white rice.

Bread is also definitely more convenient, especially if you work early/train early.

oops...my apologies
2 servings = 9.4g protein/3.3g fat/22.8g carbs. (gardenia)
2 slices = 7.8g protein/3.8g fat/29.0g carbs. (bonjour)
Here's bonjour's multi-grain macros... i will still pick bonjour due to taste and i only take 2 slices a day anyway (doesnt make much a impact anyway) ...my other carb sources come from brown rice, oatmeal and green apple..and a little from shakes.

No knead loaf tastes the best. And its easy to diy too, very little kneading required. And you use whatever whole grain and extra ingredients you like

This was 1st attempt, got apple bits inside. A bit too dense, I think I used too much beer... but still pretty good, very moist, chewy, and flavourful :d :D
