Hello there again and I want to share my possible GE 2030 EBRC speculations including any gerrymandering the government might want to somehow make so here you go!
1: if Jalan Kayu SMC rejoins AMK GRC another area would be carved out, either Chong Boon or Hougang West would be carved out as a SMC instead...
Moving AMK GRC anywhere further east or northeast would attract WP like Cheng San 2.0 and it would pull down PAP chances a lot (50%-59%) Plus AMK GRC is too big to exist as a 5 person grc anymore with Jalan Kayu in it already...
2: Nee Soon Central SMC, Marine Parade SMC and Canberra SMC would be formed in 2030? (Sembwang West SMC be dissolved? + Marine Parade-Bradell Heights GRC renamed to Paya Lebar GRC?)
3: Dissolve Hougang SMC and crave out Bedok North/Reservoir/Temasek Poly in Aljunied GRC areas as new SMC?
4: Sengkang GRC expanded to 5 persons as it is the largest 4 person GRC so far?
5: Another possibility is to have both Holland Bukit Timah GRC and Bukit Panjang SMC dissolved and replaced by new Bukit Panjang GRC and Clementi GRC taking most of the Bukit Timah areas and Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC taking in the Toh Yi Estate?
The Clementi GRC would consists of Clementi Central from existing Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC, West Coast and Ayer Rajah Divisions from West Coast-Jurong West GRC and Bukit Timah and Ulu Pandan including parts of Clementi from existing Holland Bukit Timah GRC?
6: The new Bukit Panjang GRC would also include Choa Chu Kang North areas including the PM seat and would have 5 Persons?
7: Also Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC would be dissolved effectively replaced by the new Woodlands GRC covering most of Woodlands including Woodlands North/South and Sembwang GRC would also absorb Chong Pang into it in exchange and carve out Canberra areas as a SMC?
