Since GE optimum rider withdrawn, what will happen to existing policyholders ? Will their plans be automated changed to the new prime plan or forced to take up signature.
Any GE agents able to advice

For the concern on auto-change to P Prime, my reasoning is Great TotalCare P Prime can only be attached to Great Supremehealth P Prime, so GE won't attach Great TotalCare P Prime to existing Supremehealth P Plus policies. For auto-change from P Optimum to P Signature, I think that's very unlikely because that's considered an upgrade of plan which normally requires underwriting. If GE really allows auto-change from P Optimum to P Signature without any underwriting, it's like they are blindly taking in more risk which does not make sense from a business point of view.
In addition to these, from Question 6 in the above Q&A, I see GE suggests "
For GTC P Signature Policyholders:
You may consider transitioning to a more affordable private hospital plan, GSH P Optimum. GSH P Optimum is no longer open for new applications effective from 1 October 2025 but for you, there will be a 6-month period from your Renewal Date within which you can make this change. ".
If GE were to terminate all existing Great Total Care P Optimum policies, it does not make sense to still allow downgrade from P Signature within a 6-month grace period.
