when u upgrade from govt hospital to private hospital, the prices also increase from 60% up to 100% or more most of the time, so what is the problem ?

Eh...i think all insurance coy will start to increase the price of their H&S. Govt mandates the h&s to have more comprehensive coverage. Which in turn insurance coy w have to charge us more

Total shield platimum $4xx
TSR essential $110 thereabout.

it makes your coverage very comprehensive. if you won't be choosing private hospital, downgrade to totalshield platimun lite. to save ard $200 a year for this age band.

Common to insurance company. After you have signed up, anything can happen.

Can only suck it up. Medical fees keep growing at a fast rate, and of course insurers need to make a profit. Perhaps the only thing the govt can do is to subsidize the premiums. And I believe this is done by occassional Mediasave top ups
