【GE2025】颜晓芳：尽力为人民遮风挡雨 矢志与玛丽蒙共迎挑战​

人民行动党玛丽蒙区候选人颜晓芳说，她的职责是“为居民遮风挡雨”。 她坦言这不容易做到，也未必每一次都能成功，但自己尽力了，也会继续努力照顾居民，与大家一同应对未来的种种挑战。

颜晓芳星期三（4月30日）在碧山体育场的群众大会上说，自2020年当选玛丽蒙单选区议员以来，她坚持走访基层，了解居民的需求，并努力为玛丽蒙打造新的社区形象。

她强调，单选区事务并非仅靠一人之力，也需要团队合作。 她与碧山—大巴窑集选区的同僚紧密合作，同时也建立了一支由义工和社区领袖组成的强大团队，一心一意为居民服务。

颜晓芳说，过去五年，自己和团队在玛丽蒙区推行一系列实际改进措施，包括增设巴士站，扩大巴士服务，也为超过5000个组屋单位完成家居改进计划。 他们也积极帮助面对生活困难的居民，包括经济援助、就业支援、以及为看护者提供社区支援等。

展望未来，颜晓芳说，她将继续努力，使玛丽蒙成为更加充满关爱和活力的家园。 她透露，未来的计划包括在碧山22街建造一个高架有盖走道，为碧山北的居民提供遮蔽，方便他们往返于碧山北购物中心和对面的巴士站。她高喊：“无论晴雨，我们都会为您遮风挡雨！”

颜晓芳也宣布将在玛丽蒙设立三个新的乐龄活动中心，分别位于新民、顺福和碧山北，为年长者提供更广泛的活动项目，让他们健康快乐地安享晚年。 颜晓芳也说，最近推出了“学校以外学习基金”，旨在资助孩子们在学业以外的领域发展才华，例如体育、艺术、音乐和机器人等。

That's because Jo Teo set the bar pretty low before GE2020...

Hardwork paid off for GSH and her grassroot leaders. 5yrs ago PSP and PAP candidates were on level-playing field because both were 'unknowns'.

GSH had five years of advantage this time round. she made sure she is 'seen' as often as she can during festive occasions and house visits. She pasted all her accomplishments inside the lifts on a regular basis, her latest being Bishan North HIP completion. That is good marketing.
I take my hat off her although I am really envious of opposition wards who have MPs that look more approachable without an entourage of kar-kia during walkabouts; and I still have not warmed up to her parachuted rise(has she raised any parliamentary questions before becoming minister of state?)

The second form of good marketing are the PAP flyers. They look identical to the ballot paper. For old folks, they just follow lorh. There isn't a need to write long paragraphs because nobody has the patience to read.
As for PSP candidate, I can only say, where are your door to door flyers? We heard and saw Dr TCB's photo more often in the last eight days. I scratched my head when I heard JK speaking in the Jurong/West Coast area. Where is his focus? Did he know he was already five years behind his competitor?
