At Bedok Stadium, PAP supporters - many in the party’s signature white - have turned up to show their support.

Bedok Reservoir residents Rawi Jalar, 55, and Jamal Abdul Ghani, 61, came with cardboard cutouts of the party’s Aljunied GRC candidate Jagathishwaran Rajo.

The pair have been volunteering with the Residents’ Network for about seven years.

“Jaga talks very well,” said Mr Rawi, who works as a cleaner.

“We want to see that the MPs care for residents,” said Mr Jamal, a retired auxiliary officer.
