agree with this, he fully know it's going to be at least a 3 cornered fight, he still go?

and if he jjww so much, why don't he go contest MP? if he so on to "cause" a 3/4 cornered fight, he should be okay to enter another one at MP what

hope he loses deposit
That old fart still living in the past, keep harping on the margin he got while contesting for NSP ages ago :s8:

What I heard from colleagues who lived in his area is that he appears at the coffee shops there on weekends to la kopi with residents, take selfies or go those 1 day jb trips but nothing much done to address pressing maytets
Some voters think politicians who like to take selfies as wayang and nacaristic rather than friendly and authentic.

I see UFO Goh as an angry man who got axe to grind with WP, because he got kicked out for talking too much in forums and social media, potentially get them into trouble.
Oh he was from wp last time..tot nsp?

His best showing was actually when he contested Aljunied under WP, but he has big ego and debate too much in forums and social media

If 3 oppo parties' votes combines exceed Thunder party, can they form coalition after GE and rule Tampines GRC together?

cannot.political parties must field their own teams for each GRC they wish to contest. While parties can coordinate to avoid multi-cornered fights by not contesting the same constituencies, they cannot pool votes or run joint teams across party lines in a GR

Multi cornered fight is a automatic advantage to PAP

I think the wise voters in Tampines GRC will help to solve this mess out for PAP, WP, NSP and PPP....

But Tampines GRC high chance might have recount though, prepare to tong till early morning on 4th May

I see no sighting of anyone. In the past 5 yrs i lived in tampines.
I stayed at tampines for over 30 years and in the past I have seen both Mr Baey and Dr Koh my MPs around the area doing walkabouts to address the concerns of the residents.
If the 3 oppos' votes exceed Thunder party's votes, can the 3 oppo form coalition and rule Tampines together after election?
nah the electoral system here is first past the post, first that gets the highest percentage wins and no combine idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ how that works because the majority will rule the district of Tampines GRC based on the mandate given by the majority of the residents living here.

So how the electoral system work is that the party that obtain the majority of the votes from the majority of the residents to pick them so the people who are staying there if there’s a majority they choose this party, this party is chosen by the people and it will rule for the next five years.

I am sorry, I am very old and uneducated so my command of the English language might not be up to standards here, I apologize first. Thanks for allowing me to share what I think I know.

Did WP hint or indicate before nomination today that they are going to contest Tampines?

If not then this is a master stroke!

PAP might have been led to think they would be up against NSP as NSP contested there in the last 2-3 GEs…

WP’s sudden and unexpected entry into the contest might have thrown PAP off guard.
There was early indication when they went door to door to give their pamphlets.

For some reason my side is forsaken by the incumbents. Only posters and "achievements" from other parts of Tampines.
