In Sapporo winter, how to stroll around if not walking next to the buildings on the pedestrian paths ? Not easy leh .

I was there in Feb & coming Dec.

Most buildings will clear the snow regularly and they will mark area or block it with a safety cone

This is more applicable for smaller (2-4 storey buildings) and walking outside Sapporo city

I went for the Sapporo Snow Festival & snow scenery . Not interested in shopping or hiding from the chill or snow.

Actually from jr Sapporo got a underground link all the way to susukino

order from taobao better, more designs, sizes and cheaper even with shipping. got a "low" pair for just S$15+. higher ones maybe 20+/-. i wore my higher pair for feb-winter (there was snow then, a few days after the blizzard) and it was nice and warm. i wasn't in sapporo though, so i'm not sure if the soles will be slippery.
