We just have to wait for Janet yellen to whisper the word "Taper" next year. :D

Don't even need to whisper. Just some mere discussion about it will send shockwaves through the market.

Look at the recent fiasco. Ben Bernarke gave his insights and Reits threw all it's 6 mths gains away in 2 weeks.

I guess the market will be flat throughout the year. It will wake up next yr in Feb with the whole QE tapering fiasco happening again. Till then, im gonna sit tight, collect dividends in Nov, reserve cash from Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb!

During end of year sales period :s13:

last year in dec 2012, everything was too ex to enter.
only managed to enter the market in this year jan.
so hopefully, come next month will be a good month for some correction like last nov 2012.

my broker mentioned that "sell in may and go away", wont happen (by throwing me some figures in an email) but it did happen this year.
therefore, some times i do need to take his advice with a pinch of salt.

the sell in may this year didn't start until late into may. the start of may was actually rather strong. got caught off guard sgss this year. congrats to anyone who manage to get some great discount

look on the bright side, getting caught off guard is the only way to have a feel about the market.
the last correction serves as a price indication of how low the prices of reits can fall to as interest rates increase.
since then have set my price alerts at the following prices and this time round, i will only enter at the previous discount price.

obstacles to enter the market can serve as learning opportunities to further observe the market.
