Any idea on how much FCT distributions would be? If you went for AGM today, do they reveal the financial reports then, or they will only release after trading hours?

release after trading hours...AGM never reveal how much being distributed.

bloody disappointed with the ang pao door gift zzz :(

It was my 1st time attending the FCT AGM today as well, and boy, saw some uncles bringing along disposable containers to tapao the food :s22:

bhalimking has done a good job summarizing the key points of the AGM. One other point that I thought was interesting concerns H-ReIT in Msia, which FCT is currently a minority shareholder. There was a question raised on whether FCT has any intention to become the majority shareholder as part of the plan to expand into Msia and to gain more control. Dr Chew mentioned that there is no such plan at this junction but this could be a possibility in future. I guess it is good to plan for the long term because there will come a time when there will not be many retail malls to acquire in Singapore at the right price...

Personally, I'm not too convinced about repositioning Bedok Point into an educational/food mall, so if the price is right, I wouldn't mind for FCT divest it :s8:

CEO resigned without a clear successor to take over......

the incumbent did a pretty good job in bringing CIT to what it is today. hopefully the shoes will not be too large for the incoming ...

press release

"The Board of Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Limited (“CITM”), the Manager of
Cambridge Industrial Trust (“CIT”), wishes to announce that Mr. Chris Calvert has
tendered his resignation as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) and Executive Director of
CITM and that it has been accepted by the Board. Mr. Calvert will be relocating back to
Australia for family reasons.

The Board thanks Mr Calvert for his service and congratulates him on his leadership of
CIT over the last five years, a period of significant achievements for CIT in an uncertain
environment.

The Board has appointed a new CEO which is subject to clearance from the appropriate
authority. A further announcement will be made once the appointment becomes effective.
To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Calvert will remain with CITM until then.

Good to meet Simon_84 at the AGM!!!! :)

In case, anyone who are interested in FCT but missed the AGM, I have done a quick recap on the Q&A at the AGM.

Simon_84 can help me with anything I've missed :)

A Path to Forever Financial Freedom (3Fs): AGM - FraserCenterPoint Trust (FCT)

Many thanks for your reporting and views! :)

Did any of the investors suggest AEI for Bedok Point to include a cinema? I am of the opinion that the inclusion of a cinema will win the notions of IT or Educational diversification hands down. If it did come true, Bedok Point is going to constitutes > 6% of the overall porfolio.
