these hex witch characters seems to be for new players??? bec most of the older ones from mondstadt ... only durin and varka are new ...

Hex witch is for old players so can play with Venti and other mondstadt characters (team dmg balance around Natlan level). New players should go for 1 lunar team and future Cryo DPS Team (if leak not wrong). NodKrai level dmg.

Varka’s new banner got Bennett, xiangling and sucrose, they are all v strong in terms of buff/DPS for a new player. Essentially u can curate a full team with the banner

oh, 2nd big thing, use 3dmigoto loader, and get adventure map+ mod ... this will make your game easier.

New player first thing is to explore and enjoy the game.

To get the most out of Varka, his team need 2 anemo (wind) + 2 same element. You can build his first team with characters from his banner

Varka, Sucrose, Bennett, Xiangling.

Try to get Bennett at least to Constellation 1 (C1) so that he can heal and buff at the same time.

Xiangling is good for endgame play but i don't recommend her for new players. She has major energy recharge issue, so is hard to build her properly in the beginning. I recommend you use Amber (free char) instead since the starting area (Mondstadt) has a lot of puzzles that requires fire arrows. Like level Amber a bit to lv30-50 for the first two game weeks.

Priority is level and build your DPS first which is Varka for more damage

Team Building Strategy: The "2+2" Rule
Varka’s kit heavily incentivizes a specific team structure to maximize his passive buffs and maintain his infusion:

1. Varka (Anemo DPS)
2. Second Anemo Character: Recommended for grouping and triggering Swirl stacks. Venti is his premium partner, but Sucrose is a great F2P alternative.
3. Two Characters of the Same Element: Running two Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo units stabilizes his right-hand infusion and provides resonance buffs.

Recommended Team Comps
Anemo + Pyro (Highest Damage): Varka, Venti/Sucrose, Bennett (ATK buff), and Durin or Xiangling (off-field Pyro).
Anemo + Hydro (Survivability): Varka, Jean, Furina (buffs/damage), and Barbara or Kokomi (healing).
Anemo + Electro (F2P Friendly): Varka, Sucrose, Fischl (consistent off-field Electro), and Beidou or Lisa.

Quick Tips for New Players
Stats to Focus: Prioritize ATK%, Crit Rate/Damage, and some Energy Recharge to keep his Burst available for "aura farming".
Ascension Warning: Varka uses materials from the Dorman Port / Nod-Krai region. New players can reach these areas early via "Random Waypoints" to farm his boss materials.

If no Sucrose, can use Traveler (Anemo) as stand-in for Varka team.

I think can choose to get Sucrose later in the story.

If u are willing to spend, just buy welkin and battlepass really ... The rest will fall in place in time ....

yeah playing by wiklin moon and bp .. probably just enough to get 3 units of 5* in 2 patches.. And if u are new , don't even have to worry at all.. the whole Teyvat should be litter with treasure chest .. your only enemy is the time to open these chests

For me i am on .. "whatever" mode for this patch,... will try for Varka.. since i am not drawing the next half , Skirk or Escoffier rerun. if he want to join then welcome.. if not (Losing 50/50) , I wouldn't be opening wallet meaning the 6.5 Linnea i will have 100% get without spending.
