Genting expert come in ! Help needed

It's been 24 years since I last visit there.

I remember need to take cable car up there， but I also rem can take bus all the way up?

Also I remember I say in first world hotel which really sucks, so small and noisy. Any recommendations for staying with family 4-5 pax. I rem first world hotel downstairs can reach the complex of movie restaurants indoors park etc...

I checked and there's Awana genting... Walkable to place of interest? Thanks.

cinema is near first world. either u book first world or crockford(expensive) else u can book the theme park hotel got big room but have to walk abit to cinema as it is located near genting grand hotel. u can also take the shuttle bus(free) from grand hotel to first world but must queue la.

They renovated First World some years ago..

I'm driving up to Genting later this week! Cross fingers.

Genting is cooling, infact no need to book room can sleep at the MacDonald there quite nice.

No way… but I won’t book room in genting… I book KL… too cold to sleep

Analogy:
First floor: Awana genting
Have Shopping centres, bus terminals. Cable car to temple and Casino

Those who take bus from KL will end here. You can buy ticket for coach to KL and other destination. (KL to genting 1hr journey)

Second Floor: Temple
Take cable from Awana Genting. Got Starbucks, some food outlets here and praying also. Our 清水 temple in Sembawang is branched out from here.

Third Floor: Casino and everything
All the shopping, entertainment, bus terminals also here.

Other: those who drives or follow tour will stop at certain section of the hill to eat the Zi char…Very popular. Have to ask other Edmwers for tips.. the good foods are here…
but I am solo traveller and Nigao ji Nigao Lan, unless someone brings me and I don’t drive.

Do check for notices, sometimes the cable car is down for maintenance.

Also saw on tiktok that Antara Genting got a connecting bridge to Genting attractions...

I book this Wyndham Ion Majestic - Bentong cos see tiktok, the room like very nice, can see sea of clouds.

I don't recommend this hotel if you're not driving. Even if you're driving, you still need to drive extra distance (with winding roads). The view with the sea of clouds highly depend on the period you're going. Last I stayed there (which i regretted), the clouds just covers the entire view. And the to and fro from this hotel to genting's main attraction is troublesome.
