hey im going genting during june also...saw resort hotel selling @ agoda at 147 per night..worth the deal?!

any offer or promo to intro?

edit* this is gonna be my first time going to genting hahaha so no GP or membership to use :(

Depends on how are you going there? Is it by coach or personal transport/plane? If by coach, you might be able to get a better deal by purchasing the package from the travel agency.

June is peak period for certain date. 147 SGD per nite? Might as well book from RWGenting website direct. Cos price show on wedsite need another 10% of admin fees. Try checking out with coach company if you are taking coach, if driving I will suggest to book direct from rwgenting website.

I'm selling away at rock bottom price for a complimentary two-way luxury coach ticket to Genting Highlands. Travel dates anytime till 30th April 2015. Last day for confirmation on your travelling-date of choice is 24th April 2015. Choice of travel agency/ companies: TRANSTAR or WTS.

Choice of coach type depending on timing of travel to and from Genting Highlands. Most expensive possible usual ticket price is SGD$133 (excluding travel insurance premium SGD$2) - so if you want the best class type (Solitaire coach with individual massaging seat and video screen), just pick the combination of departure and return time-slots as per attached screen-shots - just be sure you are comfortable with the timings.

Now I'm selling off this ticket at only SGD$55 (including travel insurance premium SGD$2).

Procedure to deal: contact/PM me for your travelling dates (to & from) and I will book/ get actual tickets for you. A token deposit of just SGD$20 (via bank transfer) is required to prevent no show at actual COD face-to-face meet up for picking up of tickets.

Choice of tickets delivery via postal is available as well but postage fee of $5 (registered mail) will be included in the final remaining payment amount (via bank transfer) once tickets had been picked up from the coach agency and a snap shot sent to purchaser.

Multiple choice of boarding-points in Singapore is available as well as alighting-points for return trip from Genting Highlands - your choice has to be made known to me prior to booking/ picking up the ticket by me from the travel agency.

Result when I searched "Genting" in the Malaysian Prepaid thread here:

http://deluxeforums.hardwarezone.com.sg/search.php?searchid=25011545

I was using a few different cards when I was there last June, can't recall which worked better but still managed to do what I wanted to, with the data connection.
Prefer prepaid Tron (011-XX...) - activate the 1 Day(RM1 - 30MB), 1 Week (RM5 - 150MB), 1 month (600MB) data plan....they have permanent counters inside the casino (old/ main one) as well as outside the newer casino (at First World Hotel). So far so good if u just need to be in contact via Whatsapp or Facebook...just avoid downloading big size files/ videos..disable auto-sync and disable background processes in your handset...hope this info helps..

Thanks for the info, but it's more for Weaboo who's asking earlier. :)

Malaysia is much bigger than Singapore; there's no single telco's SIM that can work in the whole Peninsula, let alone the whole of Malaysia.

What works in town, may not work along the NSHW, may not work in Genting Highlands, may not work in kampong areas.

Some users are satisfied with just E connection, some prefer H/H+, while others want 4G.

Just sharing, just my observation/experience/opinion, the rest is up to the individual member's choice. :)
