how much cash you all bring for a 4d 3n?

dont count gambling. meaning just Eating , random activities (bowling,cinema,arcade,etc)

Lets say you reach genting round 2pm. That means you will be having minimum 3 breakfast / lunch / dinner. Take 20/40/40 for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Thats 300rm already. Another 200rm for your activities. 500rm would a good and safe gauge. Would bring along another 100-200 rm for emergency usage. :):):)

Normally you would be able to check in ard 1pm if there is room without any surcharges.

2 ways to go.
1. Get malaysia sim card (available in genting too)
2. If you are using singtel, they have a roaming package you can subscribe for SGD10 per month giving you 1 gb data plan to use in malaysia. You can cancel the plan after 1 month.

I've not checked for anymore updates since then, so you might want to check the respective websites before you finalize your choice.

Digi has 2 types of prepaid cards:

Telco: Digi
Type: Smart Prepaid
RRP: RM10
Preloaded Credit: RM7
Initial Validity: 7 days
Passive Period: 90 days
Others: Free Basic Internet

Telco: Digi
Type: New Best Prepaid v1
RRP: RM8
Preloaded Credit: RM5
Initial Validity: 30 days
Passive Period: 75 days
Others: SLL (Super Long Life) option for 1 year validity extension @RM38 fee

Please note:
- Some dealers impose a "compulsory top-up" amount so you might end up having to pay more than the RRP. Other might charge more without adding any amount to your credit balance.
- There's no 6% GST for the SIM pack, but on the top-up (reload) amount.

hmm.. was there last month. We managed to check in slightly before 6am without paying any surcharge.

You may want to try the self-service check-in.

heads up for those whos going genting, you can sign up for the resort world genting card and get freebies such as one night stay in xyz hotel (use within one month), free vip seating tix to the magic show, free entry to international genting gambling area and one more i forgot liao.

i spent about 1000rm (me and my wife) which includes a lobster lunch at half mountain, ah yat and full body massage. petrol up and down ish about 230rm, toll ish about 100rm.
