It's like a credit advance to you. But u r given 1 week b4 they cash in yr cheque. No difference to u if yr current account has sufficient fund or u hv ready cash to replenish yr account. But it will be suicide if u dun hv ready fund to meet yr issued amount in case u lose away the $$. But i hv no idea how much interest they charge in case cheque is cashed in after 1 week. Within 1 week repayment i think no interest n they will return yr cheque. For sure u r seasoned enuf not to use "future" money...
Actually 2 weeks to exchange back your cheque before they encash it. If your cheque is bounced, you will be banned from Genting Casino.
Just to share since not alot people are aware of this program. This is actually called CCF (Chip Credit Facility) and usually comes together with CRP (Casino Rolling Programme), so sometimes these terms are used interchangeably.
CCF is not offered to everyone. Only to high rollers or those that gamble frequently at High Limit areas. It requires a few weeks of processing time to assess your risk, credit report, etc. But usually when the casino offers you, you are guaranteed to get it.
CRP is a rolling programme offered to all where you trade in cash in return of Non Negotiable instruments. You will get good comps in return such as rooms, free meals, etc.
In this case, you put a cheque under CCF, and they give you credit in NN Chip/E-Credit (slots play) and get to enjoy benefits under CRP.
Credit starts from 10k, but usually one will be given 20k directly. The more frequent you use CCF, the higher limit you will get the next trip.
I have witnessed a couple of High Rollers at Maxims Platinum getting 6 figures credit and go all in. Most of the time, they loose all and just run away (as their cheque will usually be bounced). Most of them are foreigners and Genting wouldn't bother to pursue back to credit.
CCF, CRP are offered at all major casinos. Just sharing the experience at Genting.
