I always take wts, is cheaper and next to my house as WTS pick up/ drop off at Jurong point, this trans star got to go to Jurong east, anyway first time try if ok next time can join membership

After taking Solitaire, I stuck with Transtar. :look:

I don't go up often. Don't mind paying more for comfort. Only complain is need to change bus and cannot take Solitaire for the most difficult part of the journey (I get motion sickness).

If you are talking about the pickup point for Transtar coach, it's very easy to find.

Just go to the Resort Hotels lobby and take the lift to B5. It's a separate set of lifts from the hotel lifts.

Once you reach B5, one side leads to the carpark, the other side will lead to the food court, convenience shop, 4D outlet, Oldtown coffee and a few food carts. The Transtar office is just outside, you won't miss it.

can just use my own passport? ...

No. The system will check if you have a valid reservation. If you did not make a reservation and scan your passport, you probably can't proceed further.

Bro Hweehwee88 says no need passport but I dun rem being able to do that. Maybe will have to look carefully again for my next trip up.

Don’t use passport, just use the card, switch is on TOP, I only check in with card

I m Gold plus, my Friend gold only say sometime need the passport, so best u get a photo copy of the passport bar code and then u can fold / cut to the right side so can scan

How did you use the card on the kiosk? I did not see the option.

Wah .. mixed reviews... can i just bring passport photocopy and rewards point card to sign in at the auto koisk?

From what I recall need scan passport first followed by swipe card. Been years since I stay at FWH/RH so their policy might change.

The usual step would require the passport scanning of the person who booked the room (foreigner i.e. not Malaysian). The second card key of the sharer can be obtained by scanning the member card. Hence, it would be safe to have a photocopy of the passport cut to life size. Scanning is similar to going through sg customs.

Make sure your check in is after 6am (although most of the time room would not be available at that hour and machine is offline) and before 8pm.

I rem B5 used to sell an awesome bowl of Curry Noodles (even better than Hou Wei) but I haven't eaten there for a long time so can't really say if they still sell or whether it is still as nice.

One thing I noticed that it's always quite crowded during lunchtime. So I'm guessing the food is probably half decent. And of cos the price is probably a lot cheaper.

Sky Avenue is like any Sg mall. It's too sweeping to say all sucks and is expensive. Some are indeed so. Some are expensive but nice. But there are also those that are not too expensive and not too bad.

I actually find the food options at Sky Casino quite good. The Noodles Bar sells a mean bowl of Prawn Noodles. That one is on L3 SkyCasino Gold room so need to be Gold Member or have someone to sign you in.
