Thanks for the fast response.

I've read about the ability to setup an account with the Malaysian banks. Would you have any recommendation on which bank is easier or fuss free to setup an account without a local MY address? Can this be done immediately or need a few days to setup?

In the end, I'm just looking for a way to transfer cash won in a fuss free manner (though I must say that 7/10 times Uncle Lim wins...)

why waste time setup acc just to tx money?
just pay a admin fee n trsf to SG account in genting highland

i also dont recommend open account in malaysia. if win big amounts can just ask genting write cheque. Small amounts just keep in genting card lor. just take it as a way to limit yourself. the maximum u can lose is the amount you bring from sg. if the money convenient to take, its even more convenient to lose it all. i even put my atm card in singapore so i wont have the temptation to draw from their machine after i lose

Previously using website during booking can choose more than 1 room. Now still can using app or website ? Can't find the option.

Just back from Genting highlands.
Noticed the MonteCarlo (casino with fishtank @ entrance near marybrown) is closed.
And the Latte casino facing MonteCarlo is also closed.

Dont know for renovations or temporary close down.
Than when its ready, guess they will close off Circuscircus & Hollywood casino for renovation

Just back too. Indoor theme park doesn't look so ready yet.

Stayed Y5 triple room for few days and std room over weekend.

Have not stayed in FWH standard room for many years. Paid for mountain view. Got tower 1 lvl 14. Surprisingly it is same size as Y5 triple room. Even have a armchair and coffee table. Surprised std room turn out better except toilet and no water boiler. Y5 triple not much place to put luggage.

I think they might be making change to tower 3 room type. They seem to be renovating the rooms further down. Painting, changing bed and putting armchair/sofa chair.

Regarding the coach. Took superstarz there and solitaire suite back.

Both have wifi but speed is weak. In the end gave up and used my data sim 4G.

I thought difference between Superstarz and Solitaire is the bus itself. But realise Superstarz less service than Solitaire. Superstarz only give 1 meal with drink. Hardly see the attendent. Solitaire gave 1 meal with drink and later a snack (puff) with drink.

Shuttle bus to change to Solitaire Suite left at 2pm. Started raining at Genting just as shuttle bus was leaving. Luckily by the time we reach to change to Solitaire Suite no rain there. Stayed longer than 20 min at batu cave store. The bus took in some extra passengers there. There was some jam after that. Reach Tampines 10.45pm despite no jam at causeway and both customs. One of the extra passenger can't find passport so slight delay. Tampines only me. The rest got off at Lavender. Luckily did not ask me to change to another bus. Last year when took Solitaire, after SG custom, me and 3 others going Tampines were made to change to premium bus.

Solitaire suite the chair got massage function. Movies are quite new. Like The Meg and Mission Impossible which I think was showing here like 1 to 2 mths ago ? Somehow surprised that my knee still bend quite a bit on Solitaire Suite (I am only 1.6m). I don't sense that there is more leg space than Superstarz. Not sure if it is because of my particular seat (seat 4 in front) coz when I tried the coach at Malaysia travel fair, seems more spacious (seat near the back).

I thought only got the normal genting membership. Can use that card to collect points when eat or shop.

In casino can use the same card to gamble electronic games.

Budget wise it depend a lot.

Depend if u go eat burgers n lobster that type is expensive. Or u just eat marrybrown/kfc then dont need so much $

Entertainment can go movies. Arcade. Rioley museum. Jurassic world.

If u going to genting premium outlet u buy things then need bring more $.

The screen is very good. Way better than Solitaire. But to fastforward is by dragging, not press and hold kind. So quite difficult to fastforward exactly.

Before every movie start, force to watch a 2 min ad of transtar on solitaire suite. Quite irritating. Come on, show on other bus type. We already on the suite why advertise to us ?

That's why sometimes wonder whether want to pay for Solitaire. Change 2 and maybe 3 times, pray hard no rain when switching at Genting.

Genting quite cold this 1 week. Get to see the real 云顶.

About shortcut. Tower 2 and 3 lvl 8 and tower 1 lvl 3 to food factory way leads to skyavenue lvl 4 where the jurastic centre and cable car is located. Take lift or escalator to lvl 2 for sky casino.

But next time when indoor theme park open, faster to go to lvl 1 then take escalator near tower 2 as it will lead to First World Plaza.

Your half hill referring to awana skyway ? Yesterday when I took Solitare Suite, switch at foothill. I think they call it RSR Genting or something like that - 10 min away from the place where they stop for shopping.

Ytd I saw 2 Solitaire Suite, 1 Solitaire, 1 Superstarz and 1 premium. So people are willing to pay more to take Solitaire Suite. And some of the passengers on my bus say next time they sure take Solitaire Suite.

If they have one level Solitaire, I believe the Superstarz people will be willing to pay extra to take Solitaire.

For me, the only reason why I take Superstarz instead of Solitaire is because no need to change.
