Genting FAQ - Part 2

Once u left First World Hotel and gone thru all the escalators uphill - u will reach indoor themepark and beside it is McDonald's - just walk along the walkway passing by McD on yr left and Maybank on yr right...walk straight on - later u will see MaryBrown on yr right. Keep straight still - passing MaryBrown and then go down the 2 flights of escalators - then u shud find a LIFT to go down to LEVEL BASEMENT 5. Ask staff at the Resort Hou Mei Seafood Restaurant (located just after the escalators) if u r unsure. Good luck!

Something wrong.....further detail, while in game arcade go straight...shall see on left macdonalds and right some Maybank ATM/mama shop/branded good outlet...go straight and see cloud 7 then turn left at the T junction of MB. Shall see casino entrance on both side Monte Carlo and a big fishtank after going down a small flight of stairs. Proceed to go down escalator and will see Hou Mei seafood and etc go down one more level will reach Rosort hotel lobby. Turn left and shall see a lift lobby that can lead you to B5 of resort hotel.

when first time go to arena of stars, from FWH, i stupid fool go up and down... a 5min walk become half hours walk... ...

is that any shortcut way from FWH to Resort Hotel?... i'm taking bus, arrived and departed is at FWH. Thanks

It's the same thing lar - nothing wrong - thanks for adding in more detailed landmarks in between. Main markers to take note of - as we both mentioned are the McD on the left and Maybank on the right...then further down is MaryBrown on the right and straight down the escalators later u can straight away take the LIFT beside Hou Mei Restaurant and there onwards all the way down to B5 liao. No need to go all the way down to Hotel Lobby for the lift bro ..check it out the next time u r there

Read the posting/ reply by me & bro Ronleech just a few lines before. Same route to take to go fr FWH to Resort Hotel Lobby of Resort Hotel. Once at the lobby - take another escalator going further down...after that it's pretty clear with signboards along the way showing direction to Arena of Stars. Gd luck the next time round!

I tried walking from fwh lobby the road outside towards old town white coffee there. It is actually quite walkable and I see a lot of staff walking this route as well. Just walk the opposite direction of cars driving into fwh.

Hi. May i noe if ah yat restaurant + cd shop is still located at level 2 of first world plaza? Havnt been there for last 3 yrs...

Any idea when the awana skyway will be operational, if not yet. Where do coaches stop?

I had no problem pulling my trolley luggage. No stairs anyway

The CD shop & Ah Yat restaurant still there. The new skyway might start around end of Nov or Early Dec. Most Coaches stop at the main bus interchange but some Coaches Will let passengers alight at fwh lobby. Depends on the traffic at Genting & travel coach company.

The CD shop & Ah Yat restaurant still there. The new skyway might start around end of Nov or Early Dec. Most Coaches stop at the main bus interchange but some Coaches Will let passengers alight at fwh lobby. Depends on the traffic at Genting & travel coach company.

i take 707, alight at fwh lobby, if stop at old mushroom bus terminal, have to take genting free shuttle bus, but i'm not sure about this.

yup, with effect from last year, all express bus would stop at mushroom farm.
is like larkin bus terminal ...
all express buses parked there

then you would walk to the glass door room.
inside you can sit there while waiting for your free genting bus

genting bus comes every 15min once ...
the queue would be chaotic...
everyone would anyhow queue and just wanna hop onto the bus ...

Yup, arena of stars is nearby resort hotel ...
if u r staying at first world, have to walk about 15min to arena of stars ...
