Came back last month from KL and genting ...
only the rooms in tower 3 have wifi ... not too bad the wifi ...

Are the XYZ rooms (renamed as y 5 rooms) located in tower 3 only? mine is y 5 deluxe but still genting style anything can happen to your room although booked with WTS travel...read a blog that they booked the same room with WTS but end up when check in become not availabel???

if the rooms are located in other towers also, then whats the point if free wifi in room unless we request for tower 3 rooms?

is there any way we can work this out eg. getting a budget data card? samsung android phone can fit anot? how much is it. only 3 day usage

i bought a digi sim card in sky avenue for 18 ringgit in may.

Yes Y5 rooms used to be called XYZ. Actually, your paying more for a Y5 room and they are ONLY located in Tower 3. If you're given rooms elsewhere then probably it's not a Y5 room.

Hotlink cards are also available at Yong Peng where most coach stops. Expect to pay RM10 for the card bundled with free 1GB data (when you first login with the Hotlink Red app). Suggest you download the app first in SG. Subsequently, buy a plan that fits your data usage and duration. They have a 1GB RM3 plan for one day.

but you wont know unless you reach fwh check in mah. yong peng is coach stop only
scared the hotel will give other rooms instead of y5 deluxe loh...like they just say its not available or what

so far, no issue ...
booked from third party website, or from their direct website ...

be it use the kiosk to check in urself, or queue up counter to check in ...
all gotten tower 3 rooms ...

For those who plans to check in early ...
6am to before 3pm, top up 5myr for early check in ...

If taking morning WTS coach, most probably reach 2pm. Pay addition RM5 to check in early lor, like that confirm no excuse to give u room other then what u booked for. :D

One more thing..additonal cost of toursim tax rm 10 per night...

If you check in early then u pay rm 25 for 2 night and early check in fee...

Take note tourism tax kicked in from 1 Sept this year
