Genting BONA iMax cinema has opened. Anyone has any idea the cost of the ticket?

They also has DBOX installed. Not bad.

Ownself answer ownself.

For those interested, the BONA cinema iMax ticket is RM25 (normal) RM32 (Premium)

In case you are wondering why it is so cheap, the iMax screen does not offer 3D. I think they did not install 3D projector at the hall.

The hall is decent-sized, the seat is comfortable and the sound system is very good. Certainly, leaps and bound over the cranky old cinema at first world plaza.

Recommend you give it a try next time you are up the mountain.

The price for the DBox show is not listed and I did not ask.

It's true for certain days especially you try to book Resort and above hotels around the CNY period.

Lai Lai. GPGT! Here is the screenshot for 11th Feb 2019 (7th day CNY)

The top is MYR. The bottom is GP. I am Silver Card too.

But if you choose 16 Jan 2019, then both the GP and MYR is different.

5D4N genting unless you intend to gamble heavily, there is really nothing much to do. I think you'll enjoy maybe 2n in KL more than an additional night in Genting. They got a new mall but honestly it's not that impressive (for food try the lobster at Burger&Lobster and beauty in a pot hotpot).

Depends on personality. I enjoy going to Genting. I don't gamble much. Go Genting to have a break from stressful Singapore once in a while. Rooms are free and cheap. So don't feel money wasted even if I laze around doing nothing. There is plenty of food choice now.

Nope. Will only be there on Christmas eve. Took transtar back yesterday. Bus was delayed and late. Reach dropoff point only at 11.50pm. Luckily there's still bus that I can take back home.

Agree. The type of rain experienced is torrential for most part of the journey. There's 2 drivers interchanging with each other through the trip so there's not much concern on safety.

Take coach there.

Hi. What is my best transport option if i intend to go genting on friday night and return on sunday noon?

1) Take coach is economy but time consuming.
2) Take private hire car may be expensive but save half of your time.
3) Flight ticket may be cheaper than coach fare, but consider the taxi fare to-fro home and airport and transport from KLIA to Genting, in the end, it may costs more and not to forget budget airlines always delay.
4) Some people consider taking coach outbound and return by flight is the best option.
And me think no 2) is the best if you are able to gather 6 people traveling together. Each person about $150 to-fro direct from door step at your preference hours, 3am also can and you are on the gaming table at 8AM ;)

If it's on a Friday night, it's less of a hassle to take a coach there. For instance if the ride on a 8.45pm coach, a person can reach Genting at 3am on Saturday with rest in between. Taking a flight to the airport is fast but there's at least 2 more transfers in between with waiting time. Flight tickets is definitely more costly than coach since there are also other transfer cost not taken into account. Hence my recommendation of coach which is most economical and least of hassle on a Friday night with little wait in transit. You don't have to gather people to travel together as well.
