Normally, it's twin sharing room (2-to-go) - couple years back it was like SGD70 ++ per-PAX but I'm no longer sure now. Btw - it also depends on whether u go on a weekend/ public holiday or otherwise AND the hotel choice (First World Hotel vs Resort Hotel) makes quite a bit of difference in pricing as well. Best you call them up.
Need call ah. Don't have the website ah?

Not sure abt XOX Mobile but at least with the free SIM given away by Genting - Tron (011-), I dun hv to worry abt forgetting to top up to avoid line-termination - min RM10 keeps the line "alive" for 365 days even if the remaining credit is zero and most of the time I'm back in SG. With RM1/day/ 30MB (there's a range of values u can choose from) - i can still survive if just using Whatsapp for keeping in touch. I guess it all boils down to how a heavy an user u r with data or calls.

A new TRON starter pack selling only at RM10 i think...shud be able to get it pretty easily in Genting i believe..in fact TRON is leveraging on Digi's infrastructure i heard...

Not exactly KL, but most of them will stop at Yong Peng. I usually take the 2300-2330 Bus and will arrive in Genting by 6am.

I think depending on Co and time-slot. I used to take 707 coach - the 9pm bus goes directly to genting without dropping off customers in KL -arrives genting around 3am - 4 am. But for the 11pm bus of same co - i think they will drop off customers in KL first b4 proceeding to genting (except on Monday if not wrong ) - arriving around 5am -6am .

I'm not sure about 707, but I'm pretty sure 'The One' & 'Transtar' does not stop in KL.

Most if not all buses to genting stop at Yong Peng for meal/ toilet break & another time a short toilet break near Sg Besi toll. Like i said depending on company or time-slots some companies put those going to KL on the same coach as those going to genting in order to maximize their coach loadings but tats only for the 11pm slots i think - for 9pm slots - arrival time in KL will be a bit too unearthly early - ie.2am. Btw - i think 707 has the cheapest ticket to Genting - costs only $25 one-way as i normally buy return ticket fr genting counter of another co which can drop me off nearer to my home.

yes, Tron is piggyback on Digi.

thx for the tip on tron starter pack price.

sometimes i see Digi on screen. according to friend working in telco, KL strongest signal is celcom. Digi is strong in north.

which means using digi & tron in kl / genting will have weaker signal

Last Dec'14 - during their promo in genting, i topped-up/ paid for RM100 worth of credits n in return got additional RM80 worth of credits...all credited over 8 mths period. Meaning in total i got 12 mths + 8 mths = 20 mths of line validity - RM180 credits over 20 mths is manageable.

If 9pm bus will reach ard 3-4am..u hv option to check in early but hv to pay extra $$ for early check-in (std check-in time 3pm). Well - for me normally just go into the casino and look see/ play a lil bit..

But compared to taking a morning bus - it's pretty torturing trip plus u hv to wake up very early to catch the 6.30am departure bus to genting. I prefer the night coach as i can sleep all the way there..so it depends on individuals. Pro's and con's of both early morning departure vs late night departure.

Nowadays, the First World Hotel implemented charges for any early check in. If check-in before 3am it's additional surcharge of RM100 i think...and progressively lesser as u check in nearer to 3pm. I think if u check in b4 9am..still hv to pay additionally abt RM40 or ard that figure. For me - I'm still half fresh by the time i reach genting since I can sleep well in the bus.
