Yes, if you go next year, you will be given gold too.

From the FAQ :

What are Tier Points (TP)?

Tier Points are used to determine your membership tier status on an annual basis. Tier Points earned in a calendar year will be used to determine your membership status for the next calendar year.

If you qualify for an upgrade, this change in status is reflected immediately in the same calendar year, and also applies for the next calendar year.

The part in bold is the important part.

I think they are just trying to remind you to upgrade this year so you can benefit from the Gold card this year.

hi guys paiseh...is skygold the same as maxims gold? hmmm...there is a maxim casino or is that the same as genting grand? paiseh a bit confused...cos i read genting gold and maxim gold on the website..damn, i didnt realise during my 1st trip at all.

SkyGold just refers to the casino gaming area at the newer Sky Casino for Gold members and above.

MaximGold refers to the gaming areas at the older casino for Gold Members and above. It's called Maxim Gold because it's just beside the Maxim Hotel.

Genting Grand is a bit further to MaximGold. It's closer to the General Area casinos Circus Palace and Hollywood.

I dun think there is such as thing as Gening Gold so I dun know where to read it from. :) I think you are confusing it with Genting Club .

So there is sky and sky gold and sky for platinum

And there is genting grand and marigold

And genting club is another common area casino? Paiseh if I sound repeated. Hahaha. Cos I was stuck at sky and then skygold for 3d2n. The furthest I explored was to the skyway.
