iirc our 14 days SHN advisory will last 30 days before sggov reviews it. So the earliest most sgreans are willing to travel is prob 20 Apr. Thats provided msia lift their controls. Oh well...i foresee double and triple TP coming. Hahaha

reserving rm is one thing. can go or not is another. no harm booking anyway. i mean if genting is going to be closed for next few mths, it means freedom of movements are totally grounded then very jialat by then.

Free rooms in May safe to reserve? :s12:

When I was asking for my refund from WTS for my coach ticket, I rejected the offer to rebook another coach ticket (up till Sep)

I also have scoot flight voucher (partial refund) valid till Sep.

I am not very optimistic about using the flight voucher.

Thanks for feedback. Seems like better to wait first and see how situation develops in April. :(

Anyone who still thinks we are not already in a recession is delusional or a big, fat whale :s22:

Recession is a foregone conclusion.

How deep and how long it will last and whether we will get a Depression should be the question.

For context, in economics, a recession is a slowdown in economic activity over the course of a normal business cycle. A depression is a sustained, long-term downturn in economic activity in one or more economies.

The 1997 AFC and 2008 GFC are not depressions.

Sure. All well and good for official records keeping and recording for posterity.

But if you look outside the windows and you can see the rain falling, do you wait for Met service to tell you that it's raining before you keep your laundry and close the windows? ;)

If everyone can see the rain but Met service says it's still sunny outside means time to sack them?
