Still got ppl dare to take helicopter up to Genting?
In the 80/90s genting used to have helicopter tour ride as one of the attractions or even fly between KL and Genting highland but due to mutltiple crash incidents they removed liao
Now should only will have helicopter if theres medical emergency?

In GH you are surrounded by mountains, All you are doing is choosing the side of the hotel where you see not only mountains but the side which includes the KL view.

Go genting at night no good. I go before reach actually at 3.00am had to queue at counter cause check in machine is close. There are queue at the counter. I wait from 3.03am to 6.48am waste a lot of time and have to pay rm25(rm15 counter early check in RM10 taxes) instead of rm15(rm5 machine early check in RM10 taxes). Nearly 4 hours wasted just for queuing.

Can store yr luggage then go gamble or makan then check in hotel later when counter open Mar.

Hi guys! I just want to explore what kind of different alternatives of transport to Genting. For the past few trips, I’ve been taking coaches up which gets me abit uncomfortable with the Long hours in the bus.. so I just hope to seek some suggestions from the people that has tried other modes of transport.

Thinking of taking a flight to KL and then take a grab up to Genting
(More expensive? But less time consuming?)
OR
just booking a small bus for a group of 4 friends Up Genting (not sure if it will be more comfortable compared to the big coaches)
OR
any suggestions of alternatives transport that worked for you guys?

Wah . Really a picture is worth a thousand words. I cannot imagine this view from Genting Highlands. Obviously have never been in room that has KL view.
Does First World Hotel have KL view also ?

Also, is mountain view in Tower 3 better than Tower 1 and 2 ?

No easy way to get to Genting from SG. But with 4 of you grab is the way to go.
Yes fly to KLIA and grab to Genting. Still it would take you at least 8 hours door to door.

Surprisingly, I'm one of those who enjoy & only take overnight bus ride...more cooling & less traffic...lesser noise from those aunties' chit-chatting as they r mostly sleeping.. key is whether u r able to doze off easily....myself can sleep pretty well in the bus...i doubt the age factor plays a significant factor. Upon arrival i straightaway chk in to room booked for the day before and continue my sleep... it's foc room anyway.

Bro u will be surprise man ahaha some Aunties can freaking chat and chat the whole freaking nite..There was once a couple of them was like chatting non-stop after passing Msia Custom all the way till uphill...I was like WTF...lol lucky i was on my headphone so Filter Out the 'Noise' but unlucky for those who have to go thru that 'Noise' all the way haha
