Anywhere at Genting (or nearby via Grab) is selling durian right now? I managed to find only one store beside a carpark, was quoted RM1k for 4 MSW. I am fine with normal quality

Gohtong Jaya should have stall selling durian. Need to go in late morning / early afternoon. Past 4 pm, can have difficulty getting Grab back up to Genting.

Public Announcement on the fire incident at Resorts World Genting (Update)​

We would like to inform you that the fire at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting, was extinguished at approximately 7.15pm on 14 June 2024. All visitors were safely evacuated and Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat has given clearance to reopen SkyAvenue.





Majority of the outlets at SkyAvenue will remain open, except for a few in the vicinity of the affected area, which will be temporarily closed.





The "Best of Chen Lei Hits 2024" concert in Arena of Stars will proceed as scheduled. Our theme parks, Genting SkyWorlds and Skytropolis, along with other attractions, are unaffected and will operate as normal. Awana SkyWay will also be operational as scheduled.

I ate one is 90rm per kg in the open stall that got sell drink.

I am pretty sure Genting will stinge on the durian vouchers this time like they have been cutting back on everything else.

Maybe in future, there will be half of a moon cake. Clock 100 gp to get half, another 100 to get the other half. Want it sealed? Clock another 10 gp.

Fruitastic announcement is the their sales will be from 21/6 to 22/9 nearby Genting Grand Hotel outdoor carpark. Don't know whether Fook Gor Durian will be operating then or not.

Wow.. durian so soon? Last year was in July.
Great... I will be there 23/6 to 25/6, staying at Genting Grand, Club Suite.
I hope the kiosk still giving out RM100 per day hitting the required TP daily.
I redeem over 5 times total last year.

Nice! Gona tabao check-in luggage back home for my 10-hour stay. Hahaha! Hopefully still got sizeable vouchers to redeem a couple of kilos.
Can't recall if it was TP dependent or outright giveaway. Oh well... all I rem was that it dropped from 500rm per voucher to 250rm or something over the last 2 seasons. Lousy!

Just return from genting today, not much impact from the fire just some route in skyavenue was blocked and some shops were closed
But as of yesterday most ways were cleared already just that most restuarant at highline street still closed including the laughing fish
Went in on 15th via mpv at around 330am no jam, reach genting skyworld hotel at 930am due to several toilet breaks
Return today via mpv start at 1130am, jam abit at jb woodland custom, cleared sg custom around 545pm
The thing that stunned me the most at genting is that gardenia normal classic bread loaf is only at 3rm

vaguely rem there were only 2 vendors last season. Now, 7. Hopefully they don't collude and jack up the RM/kg.

i also gold only but they say rm300. maybe its rm100 per vch. need to confirm sia.
