Yeah. Problem is some better rooms need to reserve via phone call. That makes booking of 2nd room on same date troublesome as need to book by phone too.

Btw now is it everything go by e-cash? Food and casino all use e-cash can already right? ETG or table, can change to chips with dealer at table using e-cash?
Cash jus bring abit for tips n those kiosk food?

Hi guys. Its been awhile since i go genting.
Usually they always give me FWH complimentary only so i not so tempted to go.
But just now i checked they first time give me resort hotel complimentary but only available in april so now im considering whether to go.
Abit last min trip (if i go) so probably alone..
Alone go not worth to book PHV so only can take coach.

Any solo traveller go genting frequent can advise transportation?
Usually take morning bus or midnight bus better?
And i read that if go by midnight bus, will reach 3-4am so need to book hotel one day in advance then inform about late check in. Is that right?

EDIT: I booked 5th apr to 9apr (3days +1 days).
So thinking if i should arrive 5th noon or 6th midnight

If you are staying in the Northeast, consider taking Firefly to and fro Subang Airport. Then take a Grab or Getting Taxi up to the mountain. Check in at Seletar 1hr before flight time is more than enough and it's a small terminal so little walking. Same for Subang.

Total transportation cost rather high at about S$250 but saves quite a bit of time.

Just to share my transportation arrangements (for both solo and in group).

Nope. What you earned is what you got. On Member's days (or Double-Date days), 2xTP means you will attain 1TP in double quick time.

For example: If you need to roll RM$140 to 150 to earn 1TP on a 5 frogs slot machine in the Gold Card Area on any normal days, on the above-mentioned special days... you will only need half of the requirement. i.e.: RM$70 to 75.

Possible to book 1 comp room and 1 paid room, or 2 paid rooms in app. If got problem with the 2nd same date room, can always go by hotline as last resort. However, do take note if the rooms are from the same hotel, 2 passports are needed for check-in to the 2 rooms, ie 1 passport for each room. If 2 rooms from different hotels, your passport is more than sufficient for the check in.

Cash is still able to use in ETG and tables. There's machines for deposit of cash as e-cash for play in FSG. Most restaurants accept cash payment still.

Not so sure about the rolling packages. Think classic/silver has RM300 package while Gold is RM1000 package. Possibly purchased from the respective cashier.

One person can play with two cards.
I go alone, but my wife card got 300+ TP in my January visit, while she was still in SG.

Her card can book nice rooms since last year.
If there is a family visit, we could get adjoining rooms at GG or HH.

I got already 1600TP in my 4th visits, probably time to play with 2 kids' cards.

Remember to switch tv on/off at midnight for a timer reset, i think they had an auto-shut feature on tv, will shutdown in few hours.

no wonder tv off by herself when i woke up in the morning cos i always let TV "run" by herself

You are right for the rolling package.
RM1000 for the gold card. Not sure is 300 or 500 for classic and sliver card.

Finally see got Executive Suite available for booking from Highlands Hotel. However, comp room only available from Monday to Thursday.

Is this the two storey penthouse-like suite?

Using Simba found out that at Genting Grand area the auto roam connect automatically to U Mobile network, but when i come over to First World it auto switch to Celcom whereby the internet speed dropped.

Done a speedtest at FWH, Simba roaming on U Mobile the down speed hit around 200Mbps while roaming on Celcom down speed hit around 20+Mbps only. So currently manually set network to U Mobile.

Shopper choice is generally Genting Grand, its nearest to cable car (GPO) and SkyAvenue shopping mall.

Gambler choice is generally Highland Hotel, its just less than 3 minute to the nearest casino after stepping off elevator. HH hotel lobby transport mini-van 24 hrs (every 5min) to FWH lobby (SkyCasino)
