very long never go Genting alr. Any recommendations on hotels

Resort Hotel, Theme Park or Maxims more convenient ah?

I find first world hotel more convenient as it is nearer to sky avenue. But budget hotel and very basic. Theme Park need to walk outdoors for a short stretch and cross road.

Prefer FWH to THeme Park too. Much more convenient.
World club room is quite okay imo.

It's possible to walk from Theme Park to SkyAvenue without crossing the road.

Just walk along the (temporary) sheltered walkway beside Arena of Stars and you will reach Hilltop Grocer. (The extreme end of SkyAvenue)

So actually it's not as inconvenient as it seems. Resort Hotel would be the most ulu hotel from SkyAvenue. But if you prefer to play at the old casino, it's OK too.

Resort Hotel would be a good compromise for those who prefer better room compared to FWH. (NB: Not applicable to those who get complimentary GG/Maxim rooms :s13:)

Lol... especially with the younger generations - not sure wat the fuss is all abt on the distance between the different hotels and the new Sky Avenue...

1) It's not as tho Sky Avenue or in particular Sky Casino is the only place of interest... especially for first-timers who wanted to explore everything abt GH...to me tats of least importance. For new punters, dun forget there are 2 main casinos there - the old Genting Casino as well as the new Sky Casino.

2) Just curious how many times to/fro the hotel one wud walk per-day especially for those who seldom go GH and wanted to explore all the places.

3) Personally, for someone who's not tat young - the difference between extremities at leisurely walking pace - (FWH Tower 1 to Sky Casino) vs (Resort Hotel to Sky Casino) is 5-8 mins vs 13-18 mins...i wonder how long it wud take for youngsters of strawberry generation.

Come on, guys - unless u hv walking difficulties due to disabilities or old age or with very young children/ babies the distance is not really of extreme differences as long u r there for fun...

It depends on what type of gambler u are..
If you are those who soak yrself in casino 24/7 then walking to those hotels are ok.

I am those who go in hit and run.. take a break walk around sky ave then go in back again.. or go room take a break, shower relax chill.. Then hotel room walking distance is a blessing.
