QN: the Sky casino and old Genting casino use the same gambling chips ?

i mean can use same chip at both casinos

Ppl talking abt atm withdrawal forex rate...not Maybank Forex counters...try go to Maybank forex counter... It's not even 2.9...i think 2.75! same as all other money changers - cimb, public bank etc...@ GH..of course la dun compare to SG or KL or JB money changers...ppl are asking abt ATM dude....so we let him know abt atm withdrawal n not some money changers..read properly first dude.

Try withdraw using POSB atm card lor...u want compare must be same mode - via ATM - between different bank cards...apple to apple comparison...

and u dun think i didn’t try withdrawing?

where in my post did i state is not bank withdrawal? or just because the rates are not what you are expecting thus you blanket the post as non-atm withdrawal?

Break the amount into daily amount or even casino trip amount.

I break the amount into per casino trip amount. Every trip into the casino has a limit. Over a weekend, I estimate X number of casino trip, then fix an amount. Use up already, then i go back room to sleep or go restaurant to eat. So far it works well.

Just use the credit card instantly and directly. Genting majority shops accept credit cards.

Use credit card to pay food, clothes, Watson and premium outlets.

Exchange rate is 3.02 from DBS/posb bank, transacted on 25-26 July.

Correction, it’s 2.9 rate. just confirmed and verified.

How was your drive up Broadwalk?

The drive to Genting is straightforward after following twilight route Cheras/Kuantan. returning leg is tricky as google and Waze indicate different route respectively. I ended up choose the shortest distance offer by google which is heading to kl/Batu cave and via tun Razak cutting through the heart of kl Sentral and directly exit through nila toll. shorter distance but quite messy and confusing route. need to open eyes big and closely listen out to google map instruction. this route however will cost additional 2.5 rm against the route that go by Cheras/Kuantan (Ampang) route where I came from Singapore.

For the Waze route it is leading me to E66 then cut through outer left wing (Ipoh) of kl central, never venture that as I am wary of E66 route.

Discipline. Hard to control when you got money in wallet chasing losses. Been there experience that.


Usually I'll put some money and ATM card into room safe. Just to prevent over gamble for the day.

Yeah...here's another option for small time punters if they are on a 3-day (or more) trip to GH:

If u r able to open a Maybank Malaysia savings account, their system allows Cardless Withdrawal from Maybank ATM's...the catch is u r limited to max RM300 only per day withdrawal.

Key is tat u dun carry yr atm card along to GH thus u hv no choice but to call it a day till the next day...lol...of course la, be sure u dun hv any other avenues to get funds like yr credit card..leave all cards at home...otherwise it's LPPL..

Just bring one lump sum of yr choice...and if u lost the lump sum before the last day then the Cardless Withdrawal limit of RM300 can tide u over daily till the day u leave GH... Total budget of losses u r willing to suffer must factor in the cardless withdrawals as well...

Exception is some old RM5 chips (dark brown color) tat dun work @ Silver Club which uses RFID sensors on their table.

3) Is there any gym for Resort Hotel guests?

Let me answer this since no one has answered it.

AFAIK, there are 2 gyms at Genting. One at Genting Grand. The other at FWH.

The one at Genting Grand is only limited to guests of Maxims and GG. It's free for guests.

The one at FWH is opened to the public but it's not free. If you are a guest at FWH, you pay a lower fee. I'm can't rem how much it was but I think it was ard RM20.

I saw that first exit after toll plaza. however I wanted to try a new route so I went straight into the heart of kl passing by the kl sentral. was very near to Klcc but went the other direction towards to kl Sentral then merge to Seremban.

i can't mention names of the casinos here.... just take note of the barcarat shoe-- if it is electronic, if it is not transparent, u should be careful already...
