Yesterday night was freaking cold. Likely under 15degC.

Late night around 11pm still cooling cold, but around 3-5am I was shivering under the comforter.
Forced to close the windows tight and spin the KDK ceiling fan at speed 1.

I was staying at Tower 2 Superior Deluxe - 27th floor facing the Highland Hotel.

The Transtar bus which crashed in Msia last week, I took up to Genting last Feb.

Double room booking.
but when use the kiosk to get 2key, it ask for 2nd passport leh.

did u always get 1 key?
A second key require a 2nd passport or different person member card. If your friend is joining you later, can get the 2nd card key from the counter when your friend arrives. No, there is no get around to get 2 card keys with just your passport.

Time to change tour bus operator..

Seriously I have never thought well of Transtar all these while. The food served onboard solitaire is crap. Kampong fried rice with biscuits and tea. Still must debus for a second coach to bring you all the way up to Genting.

And on the way back, the last time I took solitaire we had to board a single seater coach from Resort Hotel B5 all the way to the Batu caves tidbit shop before taking the solitaire bus there.

I pay more is because I want comfort and luxury. Not to shift around different buses.

The massage chair massage is annoying and nothing to shout about either.

So really dunno what the hype is all about.

Transtar Club Z had the same food, massage chair, but no need change bus.

But one thing about Transtar are their passengers, unlike the passengers from cheaper bus, I don't see them arriving late. Last Saturday, I came 30mins early was waiting for my transtar bus, I saw WTS driver was waiting for a pair of aunties who came 20-30mins late.

6 hours trip, can watch 2-3 hrs long movies onboard from their entertainment system.

Taken transtar for over 10+ years. Granted its not always smooth sailing but compare to five star (previous), grassland and wts, i would still choose transtar.

What about 707?
I always take 707 to genting for their timing and pickup location (west side).

Never taken Transtar or wts before as their price is not as competitive.

i cannot disagree transtar the #1 choice for me for past 10+++ years uphill

even doubledeck 1+2 seats is better in term of driver or passenger quality imo
they do speed but feel they dun "over-speed" as compare to those mini bus operator

for now if 2pax i will take private transport for door to door comfort

I thought the changing of buses is to ensure safety coz it is unsafe to go uphill with double decker. So cannot blame them for the change. Unless you are referring to something else.

They can command the higher price because there are still customers who still think their buses are worth the additional money. And they seem to sell out pretty well. Maybe that is why their service can afford to be subpar.
