Genting FAQ - Part 3

I would like to try the cruise to Genting, back by bus.
So far, I had asked 2x, but no one had given a FR on this mode of travel.

You can start your lucky streak once the cruise reached open seas and on the way to Port Klang.
The whole trip no much time wasting.
Time wasted is boarding time, and Port Klang to 1.5hr uphill trip.

I also opened to ideas of pvt tpt co-share 50% if both ways, or either uphill or downhill. I just tag along.

Did it once, flew to KL and cab from airport to Genting.

Regretted...

I'll take coach directly next time.

Coach just sit and relax till reach Genting. Get a Malaysia SIM card or data roaming on your telco and can surf net or watch movie on your phone or tablet. If take Transtar Solitaire even better. And now coach pickup point many locations.

Plane need to walk about so much and still arrange transport. Need to be at airport much earlier compared to 15 min for coach.

I tried many years ago, when AirAsia first established, and a new flight between Johor Senai and KLIA started.

Very cheap air ticket and that time, no seating arrangements in the ticket. Everyone queued early to get the best seat.

I was in-between jobs that time and had spare time. So went on an adventure. Cross Woodlands checkpoint by bus. Went to Senai Airport by bus. Took airasia to KL.

After landed at KLIA, take the express train to Sentral. Take the coach to Genting. Troublesome journey but fun.

on return, I took coach all the way from Genting back to Singapore.

Recommendation? Do it once and feel for yourself.

Not much difference in time saving. Morning jiak breakfast at Krisflyer lounge then take SIA or Scoot to KLIA1 ard 7am flight.

Then wait here and there to board Aerobus (2 hr intervals). Two hour coach trip. Stop at cable car station and take cable car to Genting side. Time reached is about 1.30pm+

Take am coach at Golden Mile (eons ago) 6.30am, reach Genting around 1pm+ too.

From today onwards, I will not ask for housekeeping in FWH.

My friend told me this luggage was tampered with when he hanged the housekeeping tab on his room knob.
Not sure if it's housekeeping staff or someone with special access Bluetooth device.

seems like they didnt reset gold member to silver if nv hit the required GP. or their system havent refresh?
