Heading up in 2 weeks time and spend the last day in KL, is it easy to take Grab from FWH to KL?
While going to Genting FROM KL is easy, finding a Grab down from Genting can be difficult. Drivers rarely want to drive up empty from the city just for a return fare, and cancellation or long wait times are common during peak hours.

Meanwhile, its much easier to get a grab at Genting Premium Outlet.

Get a taxi at the Taxi counter out the hotel lobby at a premium if u want assured ride.

Timing is important. Grab down can be hard to get after 4 pm. This is especially for weekday.
It is easy to get around the 10 am to noon window from day trippers going to the casino.
Best place is FWH.

With ard 500 TP, I only qualify for fwh deluxe. Even have to use GP for Y5 deluxe room for weekends. Unlike last year, still have superior and wc rooms. Sigh

Room award is based on GP not TP. After you cross 300 TP for Gold, there is not much use for TP.

This is why unless you have difficulty making that threshold, not much point fighting with people for the double TP members night.

For GP earned, the need to earn in the VIP area only applies if you want to redeem food and other vouchers from the kiosk. These often have conditions for where the GP has to be earned in order to get the voucher.

For room award, they consider your total GP earned regardless of where you earned it from.
