Getting a egpu enclosure + gpu

Looking to get a egpu to pair with my hp spectre. Seems like the cheapest chiice out there is the akito node, but Im not sure where i should purchase one (only option i see is to buy at the exhorbitant retail price). Also what gpu should i get (willing to wait for black friday), as long as plays overwatch well?

If playing overwatch getting a GTX 1050ti is already good enough. Next for egpu if u can go diy yourself. Cheaper than u own self buy those ready made.

I think this comes with the mini GTX 1070? If so, I wonder how well will the single fan heatsink manage the heat output. I owned a Zotac GTX 1070 Mini before, and I feel it just manage to keep up with a mild overclock. So I am actually not confident that the single fan heatsink will manage well.

Looking at the pictures, it does look like a mini 1070. However, the single fan is facing the mesh cover panel. So it seems to be pulling air directly from outside.

Anyway, I was thinking if the HP Spectre comes with a Thunderbolt 3 with PCIx4 speed? I realized that some HP products mentioned TB, but its x2. If it is the latter, then I feel that the eGPU will be bottlenecked by the TB.

It's too overpowered for my needs though. Also Amazon sells it cheaper
